From oilfield signage to a world first
Aquasign has more than 30 years behind it in manufacturing and fabricating oilfield signage. That experience, working with operators and engineering firms on real subsea and topside programmes, is where the problem became obvious: conventional marking simply does not survive the sea.
So we solved it. Aquasign is the only guaranteed anti-fouling subsea signage in the world, a non-toxic silicone marker that keeps shedding marine growth and stays legible for a guaranteed 60 years. Today it is installed on over 800 projects worldwide, across a huge range of climates and water depths.

Where we work
Two UK sites, projects worldwide
Our subsea and commercial teams work out of Aberdeen, in the heart of the North Sea energy industry. Our topside and oilfield signage manufacturing is based in Blackburn, Lancashire. From there we support operators, EPCs and engineering firms across the North Sea, the Norwegian shelf, West Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
Beyond oil and gas, the same anti-fouling system now marks assets in offshore wind, aquaculture, defence and marine infrastructure.
