Deepwater flowline route markers

⚠ Illustrative example, composed to demonstrate the resource hub. Figures are indicative.

Applies to: Pipelines & flowlines →

The situation

A deepwater development ran flowlines over a long, surveyed route with several tie-ins and crossings. The operator wanted route, tie-in and crossing identification that would still be readable across years of inspection surveys, and ultimately at decommissioning, without a cleaning visit to make it legible first.

The approach

  • Durable Aquasign route and kilometre-point identification along the line.
  • Clear crossing and tie-in markers where the flowline meets other infrastructure.
  • Fixings matched to the flowline coating and the deepwater environment.

The outcome

Repeat surveys could read the route, tie-ins and crossings without ambiguity, and the identification is expected to remain legible for the life of the line. That continuity is what keeps every future survey, and the eventual end-of-life work, efficient.

On a long line surveyed many times, identification that never needs cleaning quietly saves time on every single pass.
